Installation tips for hardware door and window pulleys

1.  Preparation : firstly, stand up the pulley part at the upper end of the sliding door or window and pull the furring strip. In order to facilitate the subsequent installation action, you can insert a 6mm hexagonal spanner from the round hole and rotate to loosen the screws.

2.  Upper end pulley installation : take out the upper end pulley of the sliding window in horizontal direction, and then put in new screws. Install the upper end pulley into the track with the screws aligned with the screw holes. In order to keep the top pulley at a certain distance from the door and window track, we will sandwich a piece of cardboard with a slight thickness between the top edge of the door frame and the top pulley, and then tighten the screws.

3.  Bottom pulley installation : After the top pulley is installed, remove the cardboard, then turn the sliding window up and down with the bottom facing up, and start to install the bottom pulley. Insert a screw into the bottom round hole, hold the bottom pulley with your hand so that the screw can be vertically aligned with the screw hole, and then tighten the screw with a hexagonal spanner of the right size (generally 5mm specifications).

       4.  Check the work : After the pulley is replaced, press the plastic steel window back on, and pull the two windows back and forth a few times to determine whether the new pulley can be used norm
