A brief introduction to aluminum bending
2023-11-13 22:03Aluminium bending is a stamping process in which pressure is used to force plastic deformation of the material to form a shape with a certain angle and curvature. The process consists of two stages: elastic and plastic deformation.
However, when actually bending aluminium alloys, attention needs to be paid to the state of the material, as the bending effect of aluminium plates in different states will be different. For example, aluminium plates in the fully hard, semi-hard and soft states will have different results when bending.
Finally, the bent work-piece should be flat, without obvious scratches or indentations, and warping and twisting are not allowed. The shape and dimensional accuracy of the raw material as well as the quality of the mould will also affect the forming accuracy of the final bent part.
