Processing methods for aluminum housings

There are many kinds of processing methods for aluminium alloy shell, mainly including:

1. Internal high-pressure forming technology: this is a kind of forming new technology of aluminium alloy shell processing only appeared in recent years, and it is an international research frontier at present.

2. Precision die-casting technology: the use of high pressure will be liquid or semi-solid metal pressed into the mould, rapid solidification to form a predetermined shape and size of the process.

3. Casting: The process of pouring molten aluminium alloy into a casting pattern and waiting for it to solidify and take shape. This method is suitable for mass production and the shell shape is relatively simple.

4. Extrusion: The aluminium alloy bar is put into the extruder and the aluminium is extruded into the desired shell shape through the extrusion die. This method is suitable for long shells or shells with complicated edges.

5. Punching: The aluminium alloy sheet is put into the punching machine, and through the punching die and punching pressure, the sheet will be punched into the desired shape of the shell. This method is suitable for thinner housings and for mass production.

6. Bending: The aluminium alloy sheet is bent into the desired shell shape by machine or by hand. This method is suitable for simpler case designs and for small series and individual production.

7. Stretching and Cold Punching: Using an extrusion press and a die to form the shell in a single pass, suitable for columnar shaped products or product shapes that are difficult to achieve with the stretching process.
